چکیده:

This study was an attempt to research needs analysis of tourism management curriculum in Iranian context university instructors ‘and students ‘ perspectives. first , 60 participants were selected randomly out of university tourism management EFL instructors and BA students .The participants of this study were five Iranian university EFL instructors and fifty –six BA students of tourism management selected .56 BA students were asked to responded to 20 questions and then five instructors were asked to participate in an interviewed and interviews were recorded and transcribed for later analysis .The results of this study revealed students and English instructors perspective and their curriculum .It was found that more students believed that university courses and existing curriculum are not effective in developing the skills needed for tourism students. Instructors and students stated that they need English language and other languages. The researcher has intended to do needs analysis on the needs of learners to develop an opportunity curriculum and syllabus. The tourism industry is one of the biggest and most important in the world and English is the main language of international communication. Students will also develop an understanding of the English necessary for working in restaurants in tourist areas or hotels .
